📥Receiving Payments

Your Receiving Preferences tell the Gwop Orchestrator how to deliver payments sent to your @username—on which chain, in which asset, and to which address. Senders can pay with whatever they have; you always receive exactly what you chose.

Steps

1. Open Receive

Go to Receive tab in the app.

2. Confirm your Payment Identity

Make sure your @username is shown as "People can send payments to this username." (This is the name you'll share instead of a long wallet address.)

3. Pick your Preferred Chain

Choose the network you want to be paid on (e.g., Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana, Bitcoin).

4. Pick your Preferred Asset

Select the token you want to receive (e.g., ETH, USDC, USDT, or SOL/BTC where relevant).

5. Set your Receiving Address

Paste or select the wallet address where funds should land on that chain. Double-check it's correct.

6. Preview the Route

Click Preview to see a clear sentence like: "Payments to @you will be sent as [ASSET] on [CHAIN] to [address]."

7. Save

Hit Save Preferences. You're done.

How It Works (For You)

  • Someone sends a payment to @you in any supported asset/chain

  • Gwop automatically converts and routes it to your chosen asset on your chosen chain

  • You receive funds directly in the wallet address you specified—non-custodial, no manual swaps

Tips

Change anytime: Updating preferences doesn't change your @username or payment link.

One address per chain: If you switch wallets later, just update the receiving address here.

Share safely: Give people your @username or payment link—never worry about pasting the wrong address.

That's it—set once, share @you, and get paid exactly how you want.
