How It Works
This feature solves the "empty wallet" problem. The purchased assets are effectively instant-settled into your wallet and are immediately available to be routed for a Gwop payment.
1. Select "Buy Crypto"
Within the payment flow or on your wallet dashboard, select the option to add funds.
2. Choose Amount & Method
Enter the USD amount you wish to buy and select your preferred payment method (e.g., Apple Pay).
3. Instant Verification
First-time users may need to complete a quick identity check (KYC) with our processing partner depending on the amount they need to buy. Returning users experience a one-click checkout.
4. Immediate Availability
Once the transaction clears, the crypto is deposited into your connected wallet. If you are in the middle of a payment flow, Gwop will automatically detect the new balance and allow you to proceed with the payment to the recipient.
Fees & Processing
Network Fee: Standard blockchain gas fees apply to deliver the asset to your wallet.
Processing Fee: Our fiat partners charge a standard processing fee for card usage (typically displayed before you confirm). Gwop does not add additional markups to this service.
