💰Making a Payment
Send crypto payments instantly with Gwop. Payments are denominated in USD and automatically routed to your recipient's preferred chain and asset.
Before You Start
Ensure you have:
Connected wallet with supported assets showing native + USD values
Sufficient balance for amount + network fee
Steps
1. Open Send
From Home, click Send a payment and enter the recipient's @username.
Note: Double-check spelling & avatar. On-chain payments can't be reversed.
2. Build the Payment
Enter the USD amount you want to send
Choose the asset you'll pay with (e.g., ETH, USDC)
Review the breakdown (receiver gets, network fee, you pay)
Click Pay $X to build the transaction
3. Payment Review
You'll land on the Payment Review screen showing a final confirmation of totals and ETA.
If everything looks right, click Complete Payment.
4. Wallet Signing
Your connected wallet pops up. Confirm/Sign the transaction to send it on-chain.
5. Live Tracking
Watch real-time status: Waiting → Processing → Completed
You can safely close the window or return home—the payment continues.
After Sending
Receipts & status: Check the Transactions tab anytime for live status and a downloadable receipt.
Cross-chain, no manual swaps: The receiver gets funds in their preferred chain/asset automatically—even if you paid with a different one.
Safety Notes
If you send to the wrong username, we can't retrieve funds. Always verify the handle before Step 1.
If signing fails or is rejected, no funds move—just retry when ready.
